With over 40 years of experience, Patricia’s resume speaks for itself. She holds a BA and an MA in psychology from JFK University in Buenos Aires, Argentina, completed post-graduate studies in psychoanalysis and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and psychoanalyst (L.M.H.C.) with the State of New York in 2006. Life Coach. Patricia is a multilingual psychotherapist (Spanish, English, Hebrew, Yiddish, French, Italian, and Portuguese), who specializes in individual, couples and group counseling of adults and adolescents; crisis management; sports psychology; and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Additionally, Patricia is backed by the BC-TMH credential, which allows her to deliver counseling sessions through technological means.

Along with her academic achievements, Patricia has received several honorable distinctions by the Games of Life Program in the following communities in New Jersey: Clifton, West Paterson, and Little Falls. Patricia has also been praised by the Israeli Ambassador in Argentina for providing leadership regarding the terrorist and anti-Semitic attacks. And her work did not stop there. She has presented to small and large groups concerning crisis management and public relation (PR) strategies for the Israeli Embassy in Argentina and the Argentina Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina after terror attacks. As for presentations, she has given several speaking engagements, involving PTSD for veterans, immigration matters, and issues of domestic violence. Her work has also been portrayed in the media—interviewed by 60 Minutes, CNN, and NBC about PTSD and published articles for the Wall Street Journal. Patricia is also the author of Women, Can Do Everything!

Philanthropy & Volunteer

Patricia is the Founder and President of My Power Foundation (an NGO 501-C3), a member of the Psychology Coalition at the United Nations, a board member of the Jewish Family Service and Children’s Center at the of Greater Clifton-Passaic and the North American Psychological Association. She is a multilingual psychotherapist, philanthropist, humanitarian, and director of the Cross-cultural Mental Health Services for the Jewish Family Service & Children’s Center, and the owner of her private practice in New York City, Fort Lee, New Jersey, and Nyack, New York.

 

Fitness & Athletics

Patricia possesses a remarkable combination of fitness and athletic prowess, as well as expertise in nutrition and psychology. She has participated in numerous Marathons and Ironman races across the globe. Patricia’s adventurous spirit extends beyond her athletic endeavors. She is a certified skydiver, scuba diver, keelboat sailor (American Sailing Association), and spinning instructor (National Spinning Association). She also enjoys mountaineering and has successfully scaled Lanín, a Patagonian volcano. Having had a lengthy career in long-distance running and Ironman, Patricia now offers training plans and coaching for women interested in participating in Marathons & Triathlons. Additionally, Patricia specializes in Sports Psychology and Nutrition, offering her patients top-notch services in these fields.
